Ta folks. If you liked the vase Blaze then I think you will like this beech bowl?

There was a loud bang   !! when I was turning it and I had a 4 bit bowl! I retrieved the bits, glued them back together and carried on. You would be pushed to see the join, as it were :D :D

Doesn't it show how wonderful nature is - even when it's a fungus ! It's such a lovely pattern/design - you couldn't make it up !! And you certainly can't see a join

Back in the workshop again. This time it was a case of what do you get for a good friend on her 80th burfdey when she has everything (???) Well, as the French would say 'un petit rien'. So this is it

It was supposed to have a lip on it but that departed!! Missed me though :-bd I decided that it had to be a simple shape so as not to detract from the pyrogrphy

It's a lump of tulip wood from alongside the Canal du Midi. I quite like it..

I also made a money box while I was in there. It's going to a young brother & sister who have just opened a tearoom in Corsham and it depicts, I hope, the name on the place. They are delightful youngsters and I thought that they might appreciate something for their customers to put all the tips in?
