Don't worry, Nettie - there doesn't seem to be anyone in the Pays de la Loire - or perhaps we're not chatty either !

I don't think the board has the membership numbers to sustain the 14 regions. Even TF has relatively little activity in this area.

Personally I rarely start a new thread outside of the Cycling section. I therefore use only the 'View new posts' feature most of the time as there's then no need to trawl through the various sections, and I imagine this is the case for most readers.

I am nearly one of you! (We're on the Lot/Correze border) But I'm not very chatty... on the forum...
I find it easier to talk to a face. Sorry, will make an effort... honest...

Poitou - Charente seems to be almost devoid of human life most of the time. i-) i-) I also have the forum set up to 'view new posts' as that seems to cover most of what I need! Only occasionally do I venture elsewhere if I want to see what has happened to a specific thread!

Many of the threads on the TF Midi Pyrenees forum are started by new people to the area, asking advice or information. This forum doesn't seem to attract new people - I mean those who are still in the UK and thinking of moving here, or newly arrived in France.
I might be wrong, but it seems that most people on here already live in France.

Ah yes, I can understand you would feel that way living in the sept neuf. I have ventured there sometimes, yep, Sauzé Vaussais. Needles to say it doesn't take much for me to venture back.

Yes, that just about sums it up Patf. There is certainly a larger percentage of people who've lived in France for some time too, hence the smaller number of "How do I ..." posts in all sections.

It's not a busy forum on Total France either, and i think the reason is that it's so big. Our place- we don't live there- is in Hautes Pyrenees, and I haven't been in the Lot for 7 years and I've NEVER been in Aveyron. So not a lot in common there.

I try to help with anything I know about on my patch or the south of the Gers, but....
