We visited some years ago and were very impressed. I don't know how much it has changed but back then you were taken around in rowing boats!!!!!!!!

Went last summer - and while I agree about it being awesome, I'd strongly recommend not going in high season, as the queues are very lengthy indeed - both above and below ground...

...........and worth remembering if visiting this, or any other show cave, that the undergraound temperature is going to be around 10-11 degrees. Fine when you go in from a baking hot summer's day - not quite so pleasant if you have been waiting a couple of hours to get to the end.

Take a jacket, pullover or cardi.

Gouffre de Padirac If your doing this visit then you have to take in Rocamadour which is near by.
