Order 15kg (+3kg free on special offer) of senior croquettes for large breed dog.
Email confirms the order.
Tell dog Mr Chronopost is coming today.
Open door to Mr Chronopost, dog all smiley, gets a cuddle from Mr Chronopost then... what's that? Not a very big box. Strange.
Open box to discover 1.5 kg of food for cats with special dental needs.

At least it won't take long for him/her to demolish 1.5 Kg.

Just pity the poor cat with dodgy teeth faced with a 15 Kg mountain of crunchy croquettes!

Croquettes have gone to a needy pusscat.
Top marks to Zooplus SAV:-
A charming lady answered the phone, together we searched their website to get the right order code for the pussy-dindins so that she could query the problem with the warehouse. She called me back a couple of hours later to say yes, they were missing the catfood and that another sack of doggy-munchies would be on it's way asap, and please don't return the catfood.

Glad all's well. Zooplus are great - I get croquettes from them and 4 large pieces of thick Vetbed. Excellent prices and very quick delivery.
Actually, I think it was you who recommended them, Liz :D

I've had a look at their website, and yes, their prices are good.
Do they charge much for delivery?

I order 2 x 12 kg sacks of dog food, which automatically gets a slight reduction, and have never paid any delivery.

Orders over 39€ are free delivery.
I think it was Liz's recommendation that pushed me in their direction and they are saving me a fortune - 17 mouths to feed.

There is also a 'plan de reduction personnel' where you pay around 5€ per year and then get a 5% reduction on all your orders.
It also applies if you then order on the UK site, you log in with the same id as on the fr site and it works.
I saved quite a bit when the UK price for vetbed gold was appreciably cheaper, and Fixit was in the UK at the time so delivery was FOC.
You also get bonus points for 'cadeaux' which you can have yourself or donate to selected animal charities.
