Fixit left here this morning at 6.30 and had to scrape the windscreen :o
As we're in the heart of the village where the buildings keep the heat in it must be really icey-scrapey out in the country.

I haven't looked, but the forecast for Limoges was 1° overnight, which usually means several degrees of frost out here in the boondocks.

They said 2°overnight, but it's certainly 2 or 3 degrees more than that. It's generally colder a few kms inland. A tractor cut the grass behind us last night at around 8pm, well lit-up. He cut and rowed-up in one go lickety split !

First frost here too - noticed it was cold on leaving appt, but as got out of town past allotments there was a frost everywhere.

Now it is sunny, blue sky . . . and I am in office :-(

Well I was up north in Minniac-Morvan overnight last night and there was a slight bit of ice at the bottom of the screen this morning.

But, I never, ever scrape. I always run the engine with the screen heat on full blast till it clears. If at home and in a hurry, it is a 1.5 litre bottle of hot water from the tap (not boiling from the kettle) with a squirt or 2 of washing up liquid in to help it along.

Cleans the screen nicely too. :)

Looking crisp and purdy out there! This is my favourite time of year. Crisp mornings, golden colours. Temperatures you can enjoy working in without overheating .......

And all the free leaf mulch - if you can gather it fast enough!

Bootiful morning here today, just a touch of ground frost in sheltered spots.

Brrr! you're all making me feel cold!

I don't live in the hottest part of France but it seems I don't live in the coldest either. I think it dropped to about 10 degrees last night.
